The full bleed coverage on the hand painted design had to be modified for the EmPrint Covers... This was the first EmPrint version for "Owney".
Later, after gaining more experience with Photoshop along with my developing "multi-pass printing" methods I came up with this "New Improved" EmPrint version of good 'ol "Owney".
I created this cover for the American First Day Cover Society. It was sold exclusively by the AFDCS to fund their hobby enhancing activities.
This design was used for the 25th Anniversary Cover for my Local Chapter for the AFDCS.
They were sold at the
2011 TEX-PEX Show where many were signed by the Stamp's Artist Bart Forbes.
The Artwork along with one of the Covers is framed and is on display in the Whineburgh Philatelic Library on campus of University of Texas - Dallas

The Printed Version of the 2009 Design that won 1st Place in that year's AFDCS Cachet Maker's Contest... Different stamps and cancel and I added three more flying ravens... but basically the same winning design.
The Seabiscuit Design on the Regular Size #6 Cover at top was altered to fit #9 and #10 Covers both With and Without Windows... I printed the Insert Card Red with "Seabiscuit" to show through the windows...

The first printed was with the 1939 #855 Combination and the more recent with the 1969 #1381 Stamp both along with the 2008 Take Me Out to the Ball Game stamp...
After printing the first Babe Ruth using the artwork from a very early hand painted cachet - Below, I decided to enhance that artwork with some of my more recent techniques and created the "New Improved" Babe Ruth as seen Above!
